Make firefox faster

While I understand the importance of the whole IPv6 thing, I think we’re not quite there yet and we’re definitely not supposed to suffer browsing the web!
So if you’re a firefox user, do yourself a favour:
about:config
network.dns.disableIPv6
double click it to enable
and you won’t see the “looking up” status for longer than a second instead of 3 seconds it usually takes.
additionally, make these true:
network.http.pipelining network.http.proxy.pipelining
change this one to “20“:
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
and add this:
nglayout.initialpaint.delay
with a string value of “0”
Happy browsing!
